WIND Mobile today officially launched coverage in Niagara, which joined St. Catherines and Welland which launched in October. Niagara (along with the rest of southwestern Ontario) is WIND Mobile’s seventh market.
WIND Mobile marked the launch with the announcement that it plans to give a CA$10,000 grant to one organization or charity in St. Catharines, Welland or Niagara to support a new or existing project that brings positive change to the community.
WIND Mobile also confirmed that it will launch its service in London next month. It also plans further network expansion in the Niagara region “heading into 2012.” Barry should not be far behind judging on the coverage shown by CoverageMapper.
