A day later than rumours had anticipated, WIND Mobile announced the launch of its Pay Your Way Mobile Internet service. As expected, the service gives you mobile Internet access for as small a time period as 6 minutes.
We’re the first Canadian provider to launch prepaid mobile Internet for laptops and tablets with our Pay Your Way Mobile Internet service for just $2/hr online from any WIND Zone, up to $5/day. Pay Your Way Mobile Internet works with the WINDspeed data stick and Pocket Hotspot to get Internet on the go with no recurring monthly charge – you’ll only pay for what you use.
Pay Your Way Mobile Internet costs CA$2 per hour up to a maximum of CA$5 per day and are drawn from your prepaid account. It is charged in increments of CA$0.20 per 6 minutes.
The service is limited to WINDspeed data sticks and Pocket Hotspots.
Your Pay Your Way account is maintained by ensuring that sufficient funds are available and ensuring that you use them within the proper timeframe. For example, a CA$10 top-up will be valid for CA$30 days
