Confirming earlier rumours, Apple today sent out invitations to its next event. The press conference is scheduled for September 12th in San Francisco, California.
The invitation reveals little but that large 5 is hopefully a big hint that this will be an iOS event focused on the oft rumoured iPhone 5.
Rumours suggest that Apple will announce its next iPhone and perhaps the iPad mini (although a separate announcement could cover the new tablet).
