Samsung Canada today began to push out its Premium Suite upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy Note. The upgrade consists not only of Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but also additional multimedia features and new S Pen optimized applications.
“GALAXY Note continues to delight Canadian customers with its incredible versatility and unique user experience,” said Paul Brannen, Vice President Enterprise Business Group at Samsung Canada. “With the Premium Suite upgrade, we added features that enrich the GALAXY Note experience, including the highly anticipated upgrade to Android 4.0 software and innovative applications to S Pen functionality.”
The Premium Suite includes S Note, a tool that lets you combine your notes or sketches with other digital content. It includes different templates to help with meeting minutes, a diary, and more. S Note also includes Shape Match and Formula Match that let you correct and digitize geometric shapes and even solve mathematical formulas hand-drawn with S Pen.
With Android 4.0, a number of new features such as Face Unlock, Data Usage, and Android Beam are also now available.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Premium Suite upgrade is now being pushed out. I have seen/heard reports from all three major carriers that the upgrades are hitting their devices. If you have not seen it yet, check using Settings, select About phone > System updates > Check Now.
