HP Bender Android smartphone gets benchmarked

It would appear that Hewlett-Packard’s return to smartphones may not be so far away after all. Only days after HP’s CEO confirmed the need for the company to return to this key market, an HP-branded smartphone has been found on the GLBenchmark website.

The HP Bender as it is known will not run webOS. Instead, it will be powered by Android with version 4.0.4 onboard at this point. It will also use a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 and sport a 1366 x 720 pixel resolution display (size unknown at this point).
