Late 2012 Verizon smartphone roadmap leaked?

VerizonA leaked Verizon handset roadmap has allegedly revealed the smartphones, including a number of higher-end ones, that the carrier will introduce by the year.

First up will be the LG Spectrum II in early October. Essentially a rebranded version of the LG Optimus LTE II, it will come with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 4.7-inch display, and an 8MP camera. The oft-rumoured HTC DROID Incredible X (model ADR6435LVW also known as the HTC DIx) with its 5-inch display and LTE connectivity, looks set to follow in November. Sometime in the middle of Q4, you can also expect the Motorola DROID RAZR HD.

Windows Phone 8 will also be well represented. It looks like Verizon will offer the HTC Windows Phone 8X, Nokia Lumia 920, and Samsung ATIV S. All look set for a November release.

It should come as no surprise that there are no BlackBerry devices in the lineup. Verizon does not expect to offer RIM’s first BlackBerry 10 earlier than Q1 2013.

Other smartphones expected include the Samsung Stratosphere 2 with slide-out QWERTY keyboard and the Pantech Breakout. There could also be a few tablets including ZTE 7-inch and 10-models.
