Motorola has updated its Android software upgrade schedule document and there are some updates for Canadians. The current schedule is as follows:
- Motorola RAZR HD (XT925): Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) upgrade to begin in Q1 2013
- Motorola ATRIX HD (MB886): Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) upgrade to begin in Q1 2013
- Motorola RAZR (XT910): Will be upgraded to Jelly Bean (Android 4.1)
Based on the timelines above, Rogers Wireless may have to update the latest version of its own OS upgrades schedule as it shows the Motorola RAZR HD update coming in December.
Motorola also expects to make a decision on upgrade plans for the Motorola RAZR V sometime soon.
It remains to be seen if Canadian MOTOROLA XOOM WiFi-Only owners will see the Android 4.1 update. It rolled out this summer south of the border but still does not appear to feature in Motorola Canada’s plans.
