Mysterious Cortex-A15-powered Samsung TE4 gets benchmarked

A mysterious Samsung device identified only as the TE4 has surfaced on the Rightware benchmark tool. It sports some very interesting specification details. The processor is identified as a 1.7GHz dual-core one and the GPU is listed as the Mali-T604. This suggests that the TE4 will be powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 5 Dual (5250) SoC, billed as “the world’s first A-15 Dual Core mobile CPU.”

The only other detail revealed is that the TE4 will sport a display offering a resolution of 1280 x 752.

With little else to go on though, it is equally possible that the TE4 is a new Nexus device or a new tablet. One thing is clear: Samsung is already at work on a new generation of devices packing some impressive specifications.
