According to the latest edition of the TELUS software updates schedule (dated August 7th), Apple will release its iOS 7 update for both the iPhone and iPad in September. With iOS 7 beta 5 having been released earlier this week, TELUS shows a testing status of “in progress” with the ‘expected in-market date’ set for September.
The iOS 7 update will cover the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPhone 5 as well as the iPad 2 and more recent models.
As is usual, TELUS warns that “expected dates are estimates and are subject to change.”
Apple is widely expected to unveil both the iPhone 5S and the cheaper iPhone 5C (or iPhone 5M) in September. Both are expected to come with iOS 7 pre-loaded.
