Dell today returned to the Android tablet space with the introduction of two new Android tablets. Reviving its Venue brand, the U.S. manufacturer unveiled the Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 alongside a new lineup of Windows 8 tablets, ultrabooks and convertibles. As you can deduce from the names, the Venue 7 is a 7-inch tablet while the Venue 8 sports an 8-inch display.
Neither will compete directly with the Google Nexus 7 (2013) or Amazon Kindle Fire HDX and are instead geared at the lower end of the market.
The Dell Venue 7 and Dell Venue 8 Android-based tablets are affordable, feature-rich tablets for people who want to be constantly connected wherever they are. Both tablets have an upscale fit and finish, and are designed with longevity in mind with the right components so that customers will be just as delighted with their tablet one year from now, as they are on the day they take it out of the box.
