Huawei has today confirmed the release of their MediaPad 7 Youth tablet, aimed toward the lower-end market and young people, as the name suggests. It is compact, sturdy, and stylish with an aluminum body, a device that Huawei believes, “is the perfect portable companion for the connected generation to enjoy their independence.” One additional feature is the capability of making phone calls, making it the ideal tablet to have with you when you need to make that important phone call.
Huawei seems to view this as the perfect tablet for young people on the move…affording the portability and styling they demand, gaming capabilities, and the perfect social media tool for keeping in touch with your friends, as well as the ability to make a phone call.
The specifications are somewhat sketchy from their press release, for example, no RAM was given, nor if a camera was present. The specs released are as follows:
