As part of the BlackBerry 10 launch, Research In Motion today announced that it has renamed the company to reflect its brand. As of today, the company will officially be known as BlackBerry. As Thorsten Heins announced today: “From this point forward — we are BlackBerry. One brand. One promise. Our customers use a BlackBerry, our employees work for BlackBerry, and our shareholders are owners of BlackBerry.”

BlackBerry will trade under the symbols $BB (TSX) and $BBRY (Nasdaq).
