Rogers launches Rogers First Rewards loyalty program

Rogers First RewardsRogers today announced the launch of Rogers First Rewards, a loyalty program for its customers. Much like other such programs, customers will earn points on eligible purchases and then redeem then for various Rogers products and services.

“Our customers have told us they want to be rewarded for their loyalty and we’ve listened to their feedback,” said John Boynton, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Rogers Communications. “We’ve worked diligently over the last few years to create an easy and simple program to thank our customers for their business and to show our appreciation.”

The Rogers First Rewards program will be available to consumer cable, wireless, internet and home phone customers. Once enrolled, customers will be assigned to one of three tiers based on how much they spend per month. The Silver Tier will earn customers 1 point per dollar, the gold 1.5 points per dollar and the platinum 2 points per dollar.

Among the rewards that customers will be able to trade their points for will be wireless roaming packs, long distance calling, upgraded internet packages, premium TV content, and Rogers On Demand packages among others. Point costs for items were not announced.

Rogers First Rewards is being rolled out gradually. Customers will be notified and enrolled when it becomes available in their region.
