There is good news for Rogers owners of the Motorola X. The software update that has already rolled out to several U.S. carriers is now being pushed out north of the border. Not surprisingly, the update, bearing version number 139.12.36.en.CA, is the same update with these following key improvements:
- Improved photos (colour accuracy, exposure, focus speed)
- Increased accuracy of Touchless Control
- Fixed choppy audio issue during voice calls
- Fixed issue with Motorola Assist improperly reading out texts
Among the camera improvements are improved auto-white balance performance, improved exposure for backlit and outdoor photos and a faster touch-to-focus time.
The update weighs in at 32.2MB.
Rogers Moto X owners should now have received or be receiving a notification that the update is now available. If not, a manual check can be triggered via Settings -> About phone -> System Updates -> Check now.
