WOW! Mobile Boutique opens first four mall kiosks

Rumoured WOW! Mobile logoJust days before Christmas, Canada has a new wireless services retailer. WOW! Mobile Boutique is now open for business. Saying that it is “starting small,” they have quietly opened kiosk locations in four Ontario malls: Bramalea City Centre, Dufferin Mall, Woodbine Centre and Centerpoint Mall. Promising an an “enhanced customer-focused approach, with unbiased advice and assistance,” WOW! Mobile will offer mobile devices and plans from Rogers, TELUS, Koodo, Fido and Chatr (the last three being flanker brands for the first two).

WOW! Mobile Boutique’s website is also up and running but you’ll need to visit their kiosks to see what they offer. The website only promises an “impressive selection of smartphones” that includes Android, BlackBerry, iOS and Windows Phone devices.

WOW! Mobile’s website promises a “new kind of shopping experience” that offers a “one-stop shop for several leading carriers.” They also point out that employees “aren’t driven by commission or bias. So rest easy, your experience will be hard sell free.”

The kiosks will be operated by Match Transact which has already implemented similar offerings for Loblaws’ The Mobile Shop and Koodo kiosks in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
