Thanks to a tip, we have learned that the Canadian version of the LG G Pad 8.3 tablet will soon receive a software update. Details are slim but it carries version V20D. Our source could only tell us that it is some kind of Android 4.4.x KitKat update.
The LG G Pad 8.3 was announced just ahead of IFA 2013. It launched with Google Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. LG later updated it to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. This could be an update to Android 4.4.3 as it’s probably too early for Android 4.4.4 yet.
We’re still trying to get more information on what exactly software update V20D will bring to the LG G Pad 8.3. We’re also looking to find out when the update could roll out. Stay tuned!
