We told you back in April that the Martian Notifier Smartwatch was coming to Canada. If you were eagerly awaiting its arrival, you don’t have to wait anymore. Martian Watches announced today that the analog Martian Notifier line is now available in Canada exclusively through Future Shop.
“We’re thrilled to offer our Canadian customers this feature-rich, fashion-conscious smartwatch that we believe consumers will love,” said Phil Johnston, director of portable electronics, musical instruments, Future Shop. “FutureShop.ca is currently the only authorized dealer to sell the award-winning Martian Notifier smartwatch in Canada, and this exclusive partnership is a great way for us to introduce this hip technology to our region.”
The Martian Notifier is an analog watch with a 96 by 16 pixel OLED display in the lower portion of the dial. Combined with the Martian App, available for both Android and iOS, you can customize what alerts and notifications you want to receive on your Notifier. The ability to use custom vibration patterns can be used to identify specific alert types.
Martian addresses battery life concerns with two batteries, one for the analog watch that will last up to 2 years and another for the OLED display which will last up to 5 days.
