To answer the question of whether your Motorola smartphone will receive an Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade or not, Motorola has put together an online guide where all devices scheduled for the update are listed.
We know what you’re thinking. “Will my device receive an upgrade? When? How?” Never fear…all the information’s right here.
The next generation of Android – Android 5 Lollipop – is in development. Once it is officially released we will be working with our technology and carrier partners to bring it to you.
Among the devices listed are the Motorola Moto X (both 2014 and 2013 editions), the Moto G (both 2014 and 2013 editions as well as the LTE model), the Moto E, the Motorola DROID Ultra and others.
If your device is not listed, don’t give up hope just yet. Motorola promises that the list “will evolve over time, so check back for changes.”
There is no word yet on when Motorola plans to release these Android 5.0 upgrades. Keep in mind that “pending partner support” and carrier certification could also make it longer for the update to reach your device.
