Motorola launched its first wood backplate, bamboo, for the Moto X just before Christmas. today announced that there will soon be three more wood options for the Moto X. Joining Bamboo on January 21 will be Walnut, Teak and Ebony.

When Motorola launched the bamboo backplate, it sold it for an additional US$100. With the arrival of the new options, Motorola also announced that it was dropping the price to US$25. The new price takes effect today for Bamboo and on January 21 for the new Walnut, Teak and Ebony covers.
