Following last month’s Pebble version 2.2 firmware, Pebble this week announced the release of a new Pebble firmware update along with an updated Pebble iOS app.
Pebble firmware version 2.3 comes with a number of bug fixes and stability improvements as well as a new feature. Users can now skip to the next notification simply by double-clicking either hte Down or Up button when dealing with notifications that are too long to fit on a single screen.
Here are the release notes for Pebble firmware 2.3:
- Improved Bluetooth LE connectivity.
- Added the ability to skip to the next notification with a double-click of the Down or Up buttons.
- Bug fixes and stability improvements.
The update to the iOS Pebble app is a minor one that simply enables more JavaScript apps to be available in the Pebble appstore. Apps that showed as “Coming Soon” for iOS Pebblers will now be available for download when they launch.
To update the firmware on your Pebble, open the Pebble app and select Support > Update Your Pebble if the the update does not begin automatically.
