Rogers 3.0 brings more management changes at Rogers

New Rogers Communications CEO Guy Laurence recently unveiled his vision for the Canadian media and telecommunications giant. Dubbed Rogers 3.0, It promised to pull the company’s various properties into “One Rogers” with a focus on seven priorities that include improving the customer experience and continued growth. As part of the plan, a number of executives left the company. Among them were John Boynton, EVP Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer, and Shelagh Stoneham, SVP and General Manager, Brands and Marcomm. Rob Bruce who was President of Communications, is also leaving the company but only after a transition period. Now comes word that more executives have left.

MobileSyrup has learned that both Lucie Laplante (Vice President Finance, Service & Operations) and Chris Donlan (Vice President, Finance, Sales) have been let go. The departures were confirmed by Rogers in a statement:

“As part of our new Rogers 3.0 plan, we are making changes to our team structures across the business. As a result, Lucie Laplante and Chris Donlan have left the company. We thank them for their contributions to the company.”

As Rogers 3.0 begins to take root across company, it’s likely that there will be more management changes in the days and weeks to come.
