TELUS Mobility launches Google Nexus 6

Google Nexus 6The Google Nexus 6 has proven to be an elusive smartphone to get your hands on since its launch a few weeks back. When it landed in Canada on Google Play in November, it quickly sold out. It became a bit easier when Canadian carriers began to offer it in late November. Noticeable absent at the time was TELUS Mobility as it decided to wait until Google fixed an issue with the  French language version of the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system that powers the device. That issue has now been fixed and TELUS has finally launched the Google Nexus 6.

While the French Canadian issue has been fixed, you will still need to wait for the Android 5.0.1 update to get it on your Nexus 6. Like other carriers have been doing, TELUS will ship the Nexus 6 with Android 5.0 pre-installed.
