2nd generation Moto Hint quietly goes on sale

2nd generation Moto Hint Motorola is expected to unveil at least one new device on July 28th. Ahead of the upcoming press event, the company appears have to quietly launched a new version of its Moto Hint Bluetooth headset. The new Moto Hint was discovered by Josue Joseph at his local Best Buy where it was on sale for US$129.99 (down from the US$149.99 the original sold for).

The 2nd generation Moto Hint improves on its successor in a number of areas. Battery life has been improved some 70% to about 17 hours and new ear gels promise a better fit quality. Most importantly, Motorola has apparently addressed complaints and promises improved sound quality. Cosmetically, it looks very much like its successor.

The new Moto Hint also comes with Bluetooth 3.0+EDR support and CrystalTalk noise and wind-canceling technology built-in.

It’s not clear whether Motorola intended for the new Moto Hint to go on sale quietly or if Best Buy jumped the gun. We are likely to hear more about the 2nd generation Moto Hint at next week’s Moto event. Hopefully we’ll find out when it will make its way to Canada.
