The Moto 360 is almost certainly nearing its end of life stage. With expectations that we could see a new model announced as early as later this week at Google I/O 2015, the price of the Moto 360 was recently cut. Recent sales such as a one-day Best Buy Canada sale have also helped drive the price lower. Another sale today, this one by Best Buy USA, has now pushed the price down as low as US$149 for the model with a leather band.
Today’s sale is taking a full US$100 off the price of the various Moto 360 models. The metal band models are now available for US$199 and the champagne gold model is now going for US$229.
Best Buy is also running a sale on the ASUS ZenWatch. With a discount of US$20, it’s not quite the deal that the Moto 360 sale is but it certainly is a worthwhile alternative. Keep in mind that the ZenWatch does not support the new Wi-Fi feature introduced with Android Wear 5.1.1 as it lacks the necessary hardware.
Unfortunately for Canadians, there are no such sales at Best Buy Canada today.
