Motorola “Your Relationship Status is About to Change” event set for July 28th

Motorola July 28 2015 eventMotorola today began to send out invitations to a press event set for July 28th. The event will take place in London, New York City and São Paulo and promises that “Your relationship status is about to change.” The invitation reveals little else about what Motorola will unveil in less than two weeks.

Fortunately, a dedicated page for the event sheds a bit more light on what we can expect on that day.

Yes. We’re in a relationship with our phone.
We feel lost without it. We trust them with our most personal questions, photos, stories and secrets. They never leave our side. But shouldn’t all that care and devotion you show be returned?
A better mobile relationship is on its way.

This suggests that Motorola is about to unveil a new smartphone lineup. Perhaps we will see a new Moto X and Moto G along with new DROIDs for Verizon in the U.S. Less certain is whether we will see a new Moto 360 smartwatch (our fingers are crossed).

Should a new Moto 360 be unveiled (recent price cuts suggest one is coming), rumours have suggested that it will benefit from a fully round display with a higher 360 by 360 pixel resolution, a new and presumably faster processor and the latest version of Android Wear (currently sitting at version 5.1.1).

We’ll bring you all the details of the event as they come to light on July 28th.
