Omega unveils James Bond-inspired Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M

Omega today announced a new limited edition Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M model inspired by British spy James Bond (and the upcoming SPECTRE movie). Known as the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M > 15,007 Gauss features the Bond family coat of arms prominently:

The symbol is repeatedly interlocked to create a dynamic pattern on the watch’s blue dial. The coat of arms is also found near the tip of the yellow central seconds hand.

It also features a sapphire crystal caseback cut into the shape of a gun barrel to reveal the oscillating weight of the watch’s movement. It may also feature a few other features useful to James Bond in his adventures but Omega does not reveal what these might be (likely at Q’s insistence).

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M > 15,007 Gauss specifications:

  • Size: 41.5 mm
  • Movement: OMEGA Master Co-Axial calibre 8507
  • Case material: Stainless steel with sapphire crystal caseback
  • Bracelet material: Stainless steel

The Master Co-Axial component makes the watch resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15,007 gauss (something that spies likely aspire to have for their watches).

The OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M > 15,007 Gauss will be limited to a run of 15,0007 pieces. Pricing was not announced today but we can expect more details at Baselworld 2015 which runs from March 19 to March 26, 2015.
