Public Mobile unveils new logo and promises new products and services

Public Mobile was acquired by TELUS in late 2013 in what was called a “client-focused transaction.” More recently, it announced plans to shut down all of its retail stores to become a “self-serve value brand.” As it continues to transform itself, it yesterday announced that it was taking down its home page for “some much needed renovations.”

The new site will allow Public Mobile to introduce “new products and services.” It will also use the company’s new logo which the company unveiled yesterday.

Public Mobile also reassured existing customers that account services currently available on the site will remain available during the redesign.

Don’t worry – we’re still here for you and you’ll have access to everything you need such as:

  • Self Serve account
  • Payment voucher locations
  • Our online Community

We assure you these renovations will not impact the plans and services you enjoy today.

The new home page should launch in the next few weeks. There is no word on what new products and services will be offered. As a budget brand, it is unlikely that we will see flagship smartphones and data-heavy plans be announced though.
