Samsung Mobile has announced that its next Samsung Unpacked event will take place on February 21st in Barcelona, Spain. Samsung Unpacked 2016 will precede Mobile World Congress 2016 by a single day.
With a second tweet and a teaser video (embedded below) asking us to “rethink what a phone can do,” it’s clear that the South Korean company will likely unveil its next flagship smartphone(s).

Samsung is likely to use its Unpacked event to unveil the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge if recent rumours turn out to be correct. It remains to be seen if they will share the stage with other new devices. One possibility could be Samsung’s new fitness tracker, rumoured to launch as the Samsung Gear Fit 2. Less likely is a new smartwatch.
If you cannot make it to Barcelona to catch Samsung Unpacked 2016 in person, the event will also be livestreamed like past events have been. Mark February 21st at 1900 CET (1300 ET or 1000 PT) on your calendars.
