Vector Watch today announced the winner and runner-ups in its Vector Watch Faces Competition. The contest invited developers to come up with new watch faces for the Vector Luna and Vector Meridian smartwatches.
The watch face called Moonshot (pictured below) was awarded 1st place by the three judges, Peter Aschwanden, a Swiss-born international executive, Steve Jarvis, a designer, and Angus Jenkins, an e-commerce consultant. Armin, its developer, will receive a Vector Watch of his choice.
Other notable entries include second place Gear, Rings in sixth place and Minimalist V1 in 9th place (pictured below).
Moonshot and the nine runner-up watch faces will all be published to the Vector in-app store. Look for Moonshot to be the first to be published with the others to follow shortly after.
The Vector Meridian with a black nylon strap currently sells for US$249 (about CA$365) while the Vector Luna with either a black nylon or brown leather strap sells for US$349 (about CA$510). Thanks to their monochrome displays and custom operating systems, they offer up to 30 days of battery life on a single charge.
Check out Vector Watch’s website for all ten winning entries. Drop us a note below and let us know which one is your favourite.
Congratulations to all the Vector Watch Faces Competition winners!
