Google launched its Google Opinion Rewards Android app in the U.S. last year to get users to answer surveys in exchange for Google Play credits. These can then be applied to purchases for apps, games and more. There is good news today for survey lovers in Canada, the UK and Australia as the app is now available in those countries as well.
Once you have downloaded the app, you’ll need to provide a few details about yourself to ensure you receive relevant surveys. Once you have completed a calibration survey, you’re ready for your first real survey. You can expect to receive one a week. Questions can range from, “Which logo is best?” and “Which promotion is most compelling?” to “When do you plan on traveling next?”
Surveys typically consist of one to three questions and paid between US$0.25 and US$0.50. Longer ones may pay up to US$1.00. While you may not get rich answering surveys, those answers may help pay for your next app or book on Google Play.
Google Opinion Rewards is available as a free download on Google Play.
One small note to keep in mind: Google Play credits obtained through Google Opinion Rewards are good for a year. Be sure to spend them before you lose them!
