Australia is moving the daylight saving time transition end date to April 2nd, 2006 to accomodate the Commonwealth Games. Australian Windows Mobile users will be affected because their devices will expect the change to occur on March 26, 2006. Although Microsoft will issue a patch for desktop products, it will not do so for mobile devices. If you are going to be affected, you will need to move your device clock to a UTC+11 time zone but only for the period of March 26 to April 2.
