Conexant has announced that it has released the world’s lowest power and smallest form factor 802.11g WLAN radio for embedded mobile applications. The CX3110X is a single-chip solution intended for mobile devices such as PDAs, mobile phones and digital cameras.
The CX3110X is already shipping so it should not be too long before we see 802.11g devices on the market. Goodbye 802.11a and 802.11b!
