Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, Dell will introduce three new Dell DJ portable music players. The first model is a small, 512MB flash memory model that will be known as the Dell DJ Ditty. Unlike the Apple iPod shuffle, the DJ Ditty will come with an LCD screen and an FM radio receiver. It will also come with different colored caps so that users can customize their Ditty. The price is expected to be less than $100 USD.
Fewer details are available about the other two models. They will sport colour screens and come with FM tuners as well as the ability to play prerecorded XM content (according to Engadget). Capacity is expected to be the same as the current Dell DJ (30GB). A special edition Pink DJ could also make an appearance.
Dell also plans to introduce new accessories to support the new models.
The DJ Ditty could arrive as early as next week and the other models could be available as early as mid-October.
