French site Mobinaute has posted a good first look at the upcoming HTC Galaxy. They have plenty of comparison pictures with number of HTC devices like the Wizard and Magician as well as the Treo 650, the Motorola Mpx220 and the HP iPAQ h6340 and hw6515. In terms of specs, the Galaxy is powered by a 300MHz Samsung S3C2440M processor with 32 MB of RAM and 64MB of ROM. It features integrated GPS (using the SiRFStar III chipset), SD/IO and MMC slots as well, Bluetooth, 802.11b WiFi and a 2.8-inch QVGA screen. Suprisingly, the screen is a passive matrix! The HTC Galaxy will use Windows Mobile 5.0.
Mobinaute expects it to hit France in November. Pricing has not been announced by Expansys is offering it for 420 €.
