i-mate has announced that their new North American headquarters will be located in San Diego, California. “North America is of tremendous strategic importance us. There has already been significant demand for our handsets here, and with our customized corporate solutions, we have aggressive marketing plans to replicate the success we are enjoying in other markets.”, said Jim Morrison, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of i-mate.
The implications of this move should be immediate: i-mate plans to release the i-mate SP3i and the i-mate JAM in the U.S. in March 2005 (like now?).
