Online photo services getting snapped up

Yesterday, it was Flikr being bought by Yahoo. Today, Snapfish got snapped up (sorry!) by HP as it continues its push in the digital-photography market.

Yahoo bought Flikr only a week after the launch of its blogging service (Yahoo 360). While Flikr will not immediately be integrated with Yahoo 360, it will nonetheless fill an important niche in the Yahoo Network.

Financial details of both deals were not disclosed.
