The Sony PlayStation Portable went on sale earlier today. With over one million units in the channel, Sony is banking on a stellar launch. And if that is not impressive enough, Sony is forecasting that 3 million PSPs will ship worldwide by the end of its fiscal year ending March 31.
The PSP is being sold as a bundle. For example, Futureshop here in Canada is offering the Gretzky NHL and Twisted Metal games, the Spider-Man 2 movie in UMD format and some accessories in their PSP Value Pack for $399 CAD.
