Apple will hold a special media event on October 12. Invitations read: “One more thing…” and speculation is that the much anticipated video iPod could finally become reality. The new iPod is expected to be very similar to the 60GB iPod except that it will be a little thinner and will sport a smaller click-wheel and a larger high-resolution colour display.
The iTunes Music Store will undergo a major update that will allow the download of music videos and short movie content.
Update: Think Secret reports that the October 12 announcement will not mark the debut of the video iPod but of new new PowerBook and Power Mac systems instead.
