V-Mobile updates Network Browser

V-Mobile has released an updated version of Network Browser. This tool allows you to browse your entire network with a user interface reminiscent of File Explorer. It also comes with diagnostic tools like Ping and Trace. Essentially, your network will be displayed in the same way as it would on your PC. You can then access shared files without necessarily mapping drives (although you can also do that).

Version 1.2 adds functionality such as File association assignment and a wake up on LAN function to power up computers remotely.

Network Browser requires an Intel XScale or ARM CPU and network capabilities as well as Windows Mobile 2003 operating system and Microsoft networking over TCP/IP on your PC to access shared resources. Landscape mode for Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition is supported.

Network Browser can be purchased from our affiliate Handango for $17.95 USD. A 14 day trial version is also available.
