Yesterday, Visto announced that it had signed a patent license with NTP. Today, it announced that it is sueing Microsoft for some patent infringement of its own. Visto alleges that Microsoft has misappropriated technology relating to both network synchronization and network data access. The allegations focus on Windows Mobile 5.0 and Exchange Server. It is seeking a permanent injunction to prevent further misappropriation of intellectual property as well as monetary damages as compensation.
