Universal Display Corporation has developed a protopype full-colour active-matrix OLED display on flexible metal foil. The display measures 4-inches diagonally, is about 0.1 mm thick and weighs only 6 grams (without the external drive electronics and package).
The company projects that the display could be integrated into wearable electronics such as wrist-mounted PDAs.
