Think Secret is reporting that Apple is working on a new video iPod. This new iPod will be completely different from the current 5G iPod which offers video playback. This model will sport a 3.5-inch diagonal display that will take up the entire front face and the click wheel will be replaced by a touch screen and a digital click wheel which will appear or disappear depending on whether the screen is being touched.
There is no information yet on further details such as capacity but Think Secret’s source suggest that like current iPods, it will lack wireless connectivity.
An announcement from Apple could come as early as sometime in the Spring.
