Four new HTC devices announced

HTC has unveiled four new devices: 2 new Pocket PC devices and 2 Smartphones. On the Pocket PC side are the P3300 and P3600. The Smartphone corner gets the S310 and S620.

The P3300 (codename Artemis) is HTC’s first dedicated navigation PDA with built-in GPS. It also comes with TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 and HTC’s new RollRTM which combines a trackball and trackwheel. It will use a 2.8-inch screen. T-Mobile will launch a customized version of the P3300 as the MDA Compact III in several European markets.

The P3600 (codename Trinity) is a a multimedia compact PDA that comes with both 3G connectivity and HSDPA. It also comes with a 2MP camera.

The S310 (codename Oxygen) is a small messaging and Internet candy-bar style quad-band smartphone for both business and consumer use.

The S620 (codename Excalibur) is a superslim (12.8mm) quad-band GPRS/EDGE device with integrated keyboard. It features HTC’s new JOGGR touch sensitive navigation bar and comes with a 2.4-inch landscape screen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

In terms of availability, the S310 and P3600 will be available in September while the S620 and P3300 will be available in Europe beginning in October 2006.
