Not only was HTC ranked 3rd in Information Technology’s Info Tech 100 (up from 11th in 2005) but its June 2006 sales show a 92.38 percent increase over the same month. This follows a 63.36 perfcent YOY growth in May 2006. HTC’s revenue numbers reflect that growth with revenue for the first half of 2006 coming in at $50 billion NT ($1.5 billion USD), a 74.26 percent YOY growth. Not bad for a company founded in 1997.
HTC can expect another impressive performance in the upcoming quarter as it begins to ship third-generation (3G) phones to NTT DoCoMo and continues to ship mobile phones to carriers across the world.
