More rumours about Dell exiting PDA market

Rumours about Dell exiting the PDA market are once again circulating. According to the DigiTimes, Dell actually stopped R&D back in the middle of 2005. Resources at Dell’s Taiwan Design Center were moved over to the notebook group at that time. Dell has not released any PDAs since the Axim X51 family in September 2005.

The same sources indicate that Dell does not appear to be working on either PDA phones or GPS-enabled PDAs.

Similar rumours surfaced back at the beginning of 2006 but were dismissed by Dell shortly thereafter.
