Nintendo has announced pricing for its upcoming Wii gaming platform. In the United States, Wii will cost aproximately $250 USD (about 25,000 Japanese Yen). This will make the Wii the cheapest of the 3 major platforms as the XBox starts at $299 USD and the PlayStation 3 will start at $499 USD.
Nintendo expects to ship about 6 million Wii systems between its launch and March 31, 2007.
