While much of our attention is focused on the convergence taking place on our handhelds, a similar trend is taking place on mobile gaming platforms. Now, Opera Software will release a version of its Opera Web browser for the Nintendo DS. The initial release will take place in Japan on July 24. Buyers will be able to get the browser for 3,800 yen and it will come with an additional memory expansion pack.
Nintendo has not yet accounced release dates for the US and Europe.
