How many times have we all been told never to write down our passwords and leave them in a place that we think is safe? Probably too many to count, right? Well, Apple seems to have missed all those warnings. On its Mac 101 Web site, Apple has posted My Mac Cheat Sheet and they suggest that you enter all that easy-to-forget information once, and then stow it safely away should you ever need it. Just download the PDF document below, print it out, fill out the fields with your information, and store it in a safe and secure place.
Granted that such a document could be useful when on a technical support call, but how many will leave it next to their computer rather than storing it safely?
Apple, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
