Aspyr announced today that it has released a free multiplayer add-on for Call of Duty 2 Pocket PC Edition. The add-on introduces unprecedented online gameplay for the Windows Mobile platform. Up to four players can compete in Deathmatch or Team Deathmatch modes via 802.11 WiFi (via wireless LAN or over the Internet) or subscription-based mobile broadband through their service providers.
Best of all, the add-on is available for free but does require that you use the same serial number as for the single-player game.
Call of Duty 2 Pocket PC Edition is available for US$29.99 from our affiliate Pocketgear. A trial version is also available.
