It’s not often that I post about betas. But Call of Duty 2 for the Pocket PC managed that feat not once but twice. The long process through alpha and beta is done and Call of Duty 2 for the Pocket PC is now listed as in stores. Call of Duty 2 is an award-winning, intense and cinematic first-person action game that transports gamers to the front lines of World War II.
Before you rush out to try to find it, make sure your device meets the requirements. For the software-only version, you will need 28MB of free RAM, a 300MHz Intel XScale processor and an SD card with 30MB of free space. For the hardware-accelerated version, your Pocket PC must come with Intel 2700G or Nvidia GoForce 5500 graphics chip and all the requirements of the software version.
It is available as a CD-ROM only at this time and can be purchased from CompUSA.com for $29.99 USD.
